Incubate 2.0 was a great event

We just had the Incubate 2.0 conference, co-organized by Entrepreneur Commons and First Tuesday to discuss “the new business of business”: emergence of new entrepreneur networks with global footprints, new ways of sharing knowledge, new ways to raising funds. The conference was sponsored by HP Startup Central, and it was a featured event of Global Enpreneurship Week. It was a great success:

- Tickets were sold out a few days before the event, and we were able to stream the 1st day live, so that people could attend remotely.

- The event brought together people from Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, England, Japan, Spain and the US (California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Utah).

- We had 6 panels and 3 keynotes on the 1st day, which was a lot of great content. The general feedback from attendees is that they were very impressed by the quality of the speakers.

- We had great Open Space discussions on the 2nd day, and it turned out to be even better than the 1st day because we were able to drill down on very specific topics and come up with very specific action items on how to collaborate to promote entrepreneurship. There is now a video project under way, and a workgroup has been formed to keep the momentum going.
